We don't claim to have the type of dogs that are right for everyone.  In fact we are more inclined to believe that we have the type of dogs that are right for only a few. We've had people tell us straight out that they do not want a cold nosed dog because their life dictates that they can only hunt from Friday afternoon to Monday morning and therefore wish only to run fresh tracks. This is of no concern of ours. We do not develop and raise these hounds and blood line with the idea of selling dogs, nor do we do it believing that we should tell anyone else what kind of dog they should want or need. With that said, for those hunters who's needs and style of hunting are parallel to ours and those that came before us, we may have the type of hound you are looking for, a hound that will take a trail both new and old.

 

• Sales are typically quite selective and are dictated by the number of available dogs.

• The majority of sales are to repeat clients and as a repeat client they receive priority order (see rules).

• Young pups are typically only sold to repeat clients due to the client’s level of experience.

• Most new clients are referred by previous clients

• New clients will typically receive started dogs, 10 months to 1 ½ years of age, due to their level of experience with these dogs. (See definition of started dog).

• We will try to accommodate requests for a male or female dog when possible

• Colors vary throughout the years and often within a litter itself, however if a client prefers a particular color that is available we will try to accommodate.

Rules of sales:

​

1.    No breeding. If you are happy with the hound(s) you receive from us and you handle/treat them well you will never have to worry about where you will find your next hound. If you need more dogs give us a call. If you breed the dog you received from us without consent you will be permanently removed from the client list. Most clients will be required to sign a non-breeding agreement including a list of consequences OR select spay/neuter or vasectomy procedure for your hound. (At this time all dogs received by new clients will be spayed or neutered.)

 2.   If you find a hound that will keep up to (or outperform) the hound you received from us we want to know about it. If there are hounds of similar ability with traits that we prefer in common we would like to know about them.​

 

3.    If you are not happy with the dog that you have received from us, we want the dog back and you will be refunded the money you paid for the dog.
